Los Angeles Research Group’s databases contain detailed information on over 200 economic indicators and demographic data points. These statistics are utilized by LARG to evaluate current economic conditions and forecast future industry growth. Additionally, LARG provides clients with historic figures and future projections of various economic statistics. Data is gathered from a wide variety of government sources and private organizations, including the US Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Bureau of Economic Analysis and the Federal Reserve. Data includes:
- Domestic Economic Indicators – LARG provides data and analysis on the most influential economic indicators in the United States. Information includes statistics on employment, consumer spending, consumer confidence, output, inventories, housing, construction, foreign trade, prices, productivity and wages.
- International Economic Indicators – LARG’s international data includes information from the United Nations, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the European Union. Data includes the Eurozone Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index; the Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index; China Industrial Production; Brazil Industrial Production; and India’s GDP and Wholesale Price Index.
- Demographics – In addition to economic indicators, LARG also provides demographic data by state, region and country. Demographics include population growth, life expectancy, health statistics, educational data, poverty rates and income rates.
